I purchased Schafer's Health Center in July 2008 from Irma Schafer, who operated the store for 33 years in downtown Worthington. Recently, the health food store in Storm Lake, Iowa, closed and I decided to open a second store, The Daily Apple. In December, I received my nutrition and wellnes consultant certification. I appreciate all of the wonderful people I have met and it is encouraging to see more and more people taking charge of their health.

Amy Teerink started out as a customer at Schafer's Health Center in August 2008. She began working part-time in October 2008 and she now works full-time at Schafer's Health Center. She recently completed her nutrition and wellness consultant certification. Amy has a passion for natural health and helping people and this is why she loves her job at Schafer's.
